Aloo Matar / Potato Peas Curry


Ingredients:

Potato - 4 large
Peas - 1/2cup(frozen)
Chopped onion - 1/4 cup
Chopped tomato - 1/4 cup
Garlic paste - 1 tbsp.
Ginger paste - 1 tbsp.
Red chili powder - 1 tbsp.
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp.
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp.
Chopped green coriander - 1 tbsp.
Cumin powder - 1 tsp.
Clove - 3
Cinnamon - 1'
Bay leaf - 3
Oil - 3 tbsp.
Salt As per taste

Method:

Heat oil, add bayleaves, clove, cinnamon, Jeera chopped onion and sauté’ onion till golden brown in color. Add Ginger Paste and Garlic Paste. Cook for a minute.
Add red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and cumin powder.
Add Diced potato and Green peas cook for 15 minutes. Add Chopped tomato and cook for few min and garnish with chopped fresh coriander.
Mash Slightly and Cook until gravy is thick.
Serve hot with steamed rice / Naan
